These sessions are to be done as soon as possible after baby is born. In hospital or in home for out of hospital births. This is meant to capture those first raw and real moments in the early days of postpartum. This session requires you to just be you, your house/hospital room to be the way it is and your family resting and enjoying the new baby. Fresh 48 | Postpartum sessions are about 30 minutes long and include ALL DIGITAL images.

No more Bella Baby photos…
Bella Baby was a company contracted with Bozeman Health and if you ever had experience with them, their photos were limited in creativity and they paid their photographers very little. These were done under the guise that they were FREE, however you still had to pay to download or order prints.
As a new mom who was still in college in 2011, the height of the recession, this was a gut punching blow when I saw these beautiful images and I couldn’t afford to download even one of them.
I have been offering “Fresh 48” Photography in Bozeman for the last 11 years and am pleased to say that Bozeman Health is no longer working with Bela Baby! This gives you the autonomy to book someone you want and also know all the costs up front, not when you are freshly postpartum and lacking all the sleep but still totally in love with your new baby you might happily pull out the credit card.
Driven by passion
I am a Certified Doula with extensive training on Perinatal Mental Health. When you hire me, just know that I will arrive and be a helper and not expect you to do anything beyond enjoying our session. I am also flexible because I understand birth and postpartum and know that we cannot predict how anything will go.
